The Wheel, The Wheel!!!

In the voice of Tattoo from Fantasy Island…LOL!!

Just to make this journey more interesting, we’ve decided to come up with weekly challenges for ourselves.  Each sister gets to pick a task that we will challenge ourselves to do during that week.  It can be an exercise, eating, mental, or even a spiritual challenge.

This week’s challenge is brought to you by the “baby” (Kassandra) of the group.  Now, she can definitely come up with some doozies so hang in there!!  Her challenge this week is to do 100 Ab Wheels.  Tough, but let’s get ‘er done!!  LOL!!

We’ll be sure to come back and post the results of these challenges soon.

Thanks for stopping by! :o)

Hi, I am Keisha the eldest of the three sisters who are on this incredible journey to a healthier lifestyle.  I am a happily divorced single mom of an incredible 11 year daughter and our crazy Yorkie named Kolben.  I decided to make a change in my life in order to honor God, be a better example for my daughter and not worry about where to shop for clothes.  I can’t wait until we take a new picture at Christmas and compare it to last year’s.  I know we’ll get into more detail later, but I workout in the morning before work, eat basically the same thing every day for breakfast and lunch and I don’t mind monotony.  My goal is to get down to 160 and wear a size 12, but that depends on how that weight looks on me.  Well, enough for now, I look forward to sharing with you soon!  My weight loss scripture:
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.—I Corinthians 9:27(NJKV)

Hi, I’m Ken.  I’m the middle of the 3 sisters.  I’m married with one hilarious 6 year old daughter.  (I’ll have to share some of her jokes later.)  LOL!!  To be honest, I think I’ve been on a weight loss journey all of my life!!  I’ve finally realized that this has to be a lifestyle change and not just another D.I.E.T.  I am so blessed to have my sisters accompany me on this journey as they both keep me in line.  I would say that I am the most sensitive of the 3, so it’s great to have both of them for encouragement especially when I’m not having a good day.  I started this journey because I want to feel good about myself inside and out.  My ultimate goal is to improve my overall health and to see single digit
clothing sizes.  Well, that’s it for me.  This is going to be great journey so please come along for the ride.  Chat with ya later!!  My favorite quote:

“Fitness is a journey, not a destination.  It must be continued for the rest of your life.”

I'm Kassandra.  I'm the baby of the 3 sisters.  I'm married to a man who is just as insane as I am which works well and mommy to 2 beagles.  I've had many battles with the weight loss monster, but now I know I've tamed the beast. I've never looked at myself as fat, I've always thought I was HOTT!! This time, my journey is different.  DIET IS NOT IN MY VOCABULARY!! I've changed my entire lifestyle from the way I eat all the way to the way I pray.  God has definitely been the leader in this lifestyle change. My sisters would say once I set my mind to something, it becomes an obsession.  I'm guessing that healthy living is a good thing to become obsessed about. My reason for wanting to lose weight is to look HOTT (for real) and to actually feel healthy.  I'm excited about this journey my sisters and I have embarked upon.  We invite you to join
us and be inspired by our challenges.
2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we
are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. (NIV)

Welcome to Curvy Natural & Fit

Welcome to Curvy, Natural, & Fit (CNF)!!  We are 3 sisters on a mission to get healthy and fit.  I can’t tell you the number of times we’ve started this journey ONLY to end the year back at the same place that we started.  Since we all live in 3 different states, we’ve always had this goal in our family to lose weight by the time we saw each other during the Christmas holidays.  We have said that so many times that I’ve lost count!!  It’s going to be so amazing this year to finally keep that promise and enter the next year healthier than we started this one.  Since starting this journey around July 2009, we have collectively lost 167 lbs!!  On this blog, we hope to share with you some of the things that we are doing and also encourage you to start your own fitness journey. We invite you to come along with us and hopefully we’ll inspire someone along the way.
